Elinor Payne

Elinor is Project Manager assisting with the day-to-day management of the 25 wind project MSW portfolios and 3 Fan Club wind projects with Octopus Energy.  This involves management of contractors, performance monitoring and diagnostics, and environmental risk management.

Elinor has a BSc in Environmental Geography from Cardiff University.  As well as her deep knowledge of oceanic and atmospheric science, she also has experience studying the impacts of climate change on weather systems, and the use of carbon capture and renewable energy technologies. She has worked for the Environment Agency in its Water Monitoring Team and as a subcontracted ecologist for GE Consulting where she contributes to the preparation of numerous environmental impact assessments. Through this experience, she is able to provide insight into environmental and ecological risk management.
